Introducing Three Monkeys Cafe, a beloved cafe in Newcastle that has recently garnered attention for its exceptional food and service. With a menu that evokes childhood memories and satisfies even the most discerning palates, Three Monkeys Cafe offers a delightful dining experience. This morning I enjoyed the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time!
I ordered the veggie breakfast and everything on the plate was fresh and delicious 👌🏼
The portion size was on point. I just as able to finish the whole plate and walked away feeling full but not bloated.
The team are polite and helpful. The cafe has a great mix of indoor and outdoor seating, including out the front where you can watch the hustle and bustle of Darby Street, inside downstairs, inside upstairs, or there’s the private and leafy courtyard out the back.
Three Monkeys is an institution in Newcastle. It’s one of those versatile places you can bring your friends or family for brunch, have a solo breakky, or simply grab a takeaway coffee & go.
I also really value that the owners are local and play a strong advocacy role for the local business community.
Thanks for a great breakky once again!
Great atmosphere, seating outside, upstairs, and a great courtyard. Service was quick and with a smile. Food tastes as good as it looks. I had the Moroccan Eggs on Thursday. Back again on Saturday to try the Chicken Poke Bowl. It was absolutely delicious. Once again I will be back guys. Keep up the good work😋🙏🙃❤️🙃
Had a wonderful brunch at 3 Monkey’s! Would highly recommend the pancakes! Serving sizes were great too! Staff were super prompt as well!!
Haven’t been to Three Monkeys in years, but was not disappointed. The food and service was as good as I remember it.
I had the bubble and squeak, was a childhood throwback! Was delicious and a good serving size.
My sister had the pancakes, they were light and fluffy. The ice cream and maple syrup were great accompaniments.
Will definitely be back when I am next back in Newcastle
Soooo good. Walking along Darby Street, this place called to us. Unfortunately no tables were available outside and inside was a bit warm.
The food, juice and coffee was perfect. Toastie was too large to eat so was offered a box to take home.
From Perth so unfortunately not a place we can frequent but will definitely be back next time in Newie.
Strap yourself in for some good food and monkey mayhem. This cafe is the king of the jungle when it comes to Newcastle cafes.
The food is always reasonably priced and the portions are more than generous. I will continue to recommend this place to all friends and family.
Greeted by 4 delightful smiling faces on entry who informed us of the different eating spaces we could inhabit. The coffee was excellent and the food exceptional. I came back for the vego poke bowl which was great last time however it has now gone to a whole other level! Sublime! My wife had the reuben which she relished and my son had the little piggy 🐷 toasted sandwich which was also eaten with great gusto 😊 and the portions were very generous to boot! The staff said they had a new chef and yoü could see the care and attention to detail that had gone into the dishes. As we say “you could tell they really put the love in”. Kudos to all concerned 🙏🏻❤️
Love this place! Fantastic coffee, lovely food, awesome service. Staff here are always extremely friendly and food & coffee are consistently good. I'd say meals are fairly large but certainly worth the money. Always feel happy when I've been here
